Position Overview:
As a Cyber Security Intern at Purezza Technologies, you will delve into the dynamic world of cybersecurity and gain invaluable hands-on experience in safeguarding digital assets against emerging threats. Under the guidance of seasoned professionals, you will play a crucial role in fortifying our clients’ IT systems and ensuring the integrity and confidentiality of their data.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of cybersecurity measures to protect against threats such as malware, phishing, and unauthorized access.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify weaknesses in clients’ networks and applications.
- Monitor security events and investigate incidents to mitigate risks and minimize impact.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay abreast of the latest cybersecurity trends, tools, and techniques through research and continuous learning.
- Assist in the development and delivery of cybersecurity awareness training programs for clients’ employees.
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts, operating systems, and common cybersecurity threats.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity tools such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and antivirus software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively both independently and in a team.
